DANDING CORUNDUM ABRASIVE (D-ABT) is a kind of synthetic abrasive which was fused by Electric Arc Furnace at high temperature. With characteristic high density, hardness and thermostability, this material could be widely used for cutting, grinding, sandblasting and specialized applications in modern industry.

DANDING CORUNDUM ABRASIVE

is mainly used as a recyclable abrasive in blast cabinetsand blast rooms. Because of its low iron content, D-ABT is often used in blasting operations where iron contamination on the non-ferrous metal substrate is not allowed. D-ABT is a very hard and sharp abrasive that cleans rapidly. It leaves an anchor profile prior to coating and is suitable for removal of scale, rust and old coatings.

DANDING CORUNDUM ABRASIVE

has a blocky shape with multiple sharp cutting edges that penetrate work pieces, dig-out microchips and leave exceptionally clean etched surfaces. It is effective on metals, glass, ceramic, marble, granite and other stone. It has a MOHS hardness of 9 which makes it a very tough and durable material. During blasting it fractures and thereby does not create a dusty atmosphere. It is an excellent material for cleaning and providing a uniform surface or anchor pattern.
